Kurumba Maldives is traditional in style and elegance, a unique holiday resort newly built to ancient Maldivian designs, with graceful meditation pavilions and a calm induced by a succession of ornamental pools. Royal Kurumba Residence

The ultimate in luxurious living, this two bedroom suite with two swimming pools and a spacious sundeck over the beach, the Royal Kurumba Residence has proved a favourite with heads of state. Entrance is through a courtyard by a bridge over an ornamental pool with a thatched pavilion and daybeds on either side. A patio gives access to a foyer and huge sitting room, complete with butler's pantry and guest washroom.

With six restaurants and two bars Kurumba offers the widest choice in dining in the Maldives. The cuisine is authentic. In-room dining is available 24 hours a day.

The Ocean Grill , set on the water’s edge , offers , in addition to a spectacular view , fresh seafood and meats marinated in secret sauces and lovingly grilled to order. The grill features a lobster pond with live lobsters to choose from. Dine under the moon and the stars. The wine menu at The Ocean Grill has an eclectic variety from Europe as well as the new world.

Golden Cowrie serves fine Italian cuisine. Bruschetta, Pasta and Risotto; fresh fish and meats delicately poached or simmered with the traditional Italian flavours of basil, olives, oregano, capers, Italian tomatoes; The Italian décor is distinctly romantic . The wine list offers a wide variety of fine wines from Italy and other countries.

Indian masterchefs prepare delicately spiced , authentic Indian food to tingle the palate at Kurumba Mahal.

Al Qasr seduces the tastebuds with mezze, tabuleh, kibbeh, houmus and a variety of temptations from the magical Mediterranean. The charming interiors and the intoxicating music lifts the spirits.

Hamakaza presents the fine art of sushi , sashimi and the more flamboyant teppan-yaki. Ohayogozaimas!!

The Vihamana Restaurant offers a rich variety of table d ‘ hote menus and opulent buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Beach Bar - Elegantly rendered in wood and cane. Sprawling overwater deck. Boasts a rich selection of French, Italian and new world wines. Groovy bands perform four evenings a week. Serves interesting snacks and mini meals. Open all day and till the last guest retires.
